You ever wonder what I'd look like in a police uniform? Now you know. I look itty bitty, right?! That's probably because I'm acting opposite a towering man. The night before the shoot I felt like it was Christmas Eve and I was a five-year-old. I could not wait to meet John Lithgow and perform (even for the briefest moment) opposite him. I gotta tell you, in that two hour time span we spent shooting the scene, he gave me the willies. As an actor, there was so much for me to play off of that portraying the less than observant cop who can't manage to realize that a) he's scary and up to something bad b) that he's stolen a pass from some unassuming old lady and is entering the police station, RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME, was actually an interesting feat. Desk Officer "Insert Name Here" ain't so bright and probably should lose her job after failing to perform on the job.
I've had "The Watch" added to my film reel for, well, let's see, ummm ... months now! My brilliant self just hasn't posted it to my blog. Seriously, Jenn. Get with the program.
Hello! Here is the latest version of my film reel. I'm still waiting on the hilarious clips from the film "The Watch" that I shot last year. But it will be worth the wait because the cinematography is spectacular. Please enjoy!
I got a phone call the other day from Matthew Smith, director, writer, producer, actor of the Kitchen Sync Revival. In the phone call Matt said, "I want to shoot a webseries about you, starring you, with your content." And I thought to myself for one second before saying, "Rad! I'm in!"
Well, with maybe an hour of shooting, Matt has created three videos that I will share with you here. These three are the sequence of my particular spots, but there are more very talented actors being followed by Matt's lens. Poke around the series and enjoy!
The much anticipated pilot has finally made its premiere and is happily being viewed on www.vimeo.com. Thank you to Matthew Smith (creator, producer, writer, director) and Rory Mitchel for making such a great thing come to fruition. Here it is for your own personal enjoyment.
With the ever changing political climate, Theda and Noura felt it was their social obligation to find out what the people are thinking. Take a look.
After American Apparel's CEO Dov Charney is charged with multiple sexual harassment lawsuits, it's up to Theda and Noura to save the company. But first, a video used to help, or hinder, Dov's case. You decide.
When Dov is put in jail Theda decides to embark on a new ad campaign with Hollister Von Dutch. The clothing ads are less than desirable and cause a break up between Theda and Noura. It's now up to Noura alone to preserve American Apparel's reputation.
